A country with huge amounts of charm, Hungary is certainly one of East Europe’s top places. Its capital, Budapest, is a sprawling city split by the Danube among historic Buda and buzzy Pest, and home with a of Europe’s best architectural mastery and wonderful spas. Beyond Budapest, in which wide range of things to see is to do, from the Serb-influenced Szentendre to the UNESCO-protected Danube bend over in the Badacsony place on Lake Balaton.

Travelling in Hungary is relatively simple cheap, specifically for those from the euro zone or the ALL OF US. Most accommodation is affordable and which huge choice of hostels, budget accommodations and campsites.

Meals & Beverage

Traditional Hungarian cuisine is rich, vigorous and often economical. The mainstays happen to be meat stew and smoked cigarettes meats, with casseroles, dumplings and turo cheese as well on the menu. Seafood is another staple, from lake carp (ponty) to zander, hake and catfish.

Making your way around

Budapest is straightforward to bypass by coach, with the town centre a quick stroll faraway from many landscapes. There are plenty of buses and locomotives to the neighboring cities, as well.
